Coventry Industries is growing and we are looking for some good people to be a part of our team.

Coventry Industries is a part of the ammunition industry. Building, repairing, and retrofitting ammunition presses and machines for some of the biggest ammunition makers in the world. We do everything from complete teardowns and rebuilds to minor retrofitting of machines.

Established in 2007 we have been steadily growing and expanding our capabilities developing a complete state-of-the-art machine shop and fabrication department doing work in the automotive industry and aerospace.

CNC Operator: Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in CNC machining is a plus.

  • Experience: Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a related role is preferred but not always required. Entry-level positions may be available for those with a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in CNC machine operation and programming.

    • Knowledge of G-code and CAD/CAM software.

    • Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic machine maintenance.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail are essential for producing accurate parts that meet quality standards.

  • Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and guidelines is crucial to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report any issues or deviations from specifications.

A CNC Operator plays a vital role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the production of high-quality components used in various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing. The job may require standing for extended periods and working in a noisy, industrial environment.

Machine/Press Builder:

Mechanical experience is a must, looking for a self-starter.  

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Machine Repair experience Proficient with Pneumatic and Hydraulic repair,

Basic knowledge of press controls and processes, Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings, and a High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
